The recordings and photographs presented here are part of the Fairchild Natural History Societys 2025 Collectiona curated archive of bioacoustic field recordings and related visual documentation gathered in and around the village of Fairchild.
Founded and directed by Steven F. Allen, the Society is dedicated to capturing and cataloging the evolving soundscapes of Fairchild throughout the year 2025. This project blends scientific observation with artistic interpretation, offering both raw field recordings and edited, musically manipulated versions that highlight the villages unique acoustic ecology.

Fairchild Natural History Society is a project started by Audiochosis - Steven F. Allen - Audio Mirage. The goal of this project is to capture and manipulate the sounds and ambience of Fairchild at this time in history. In just a few years, many of the sounds and sonic atmospheres of Fairchild will be changed by human incroachment.
