This wandering lamb so far from home

For the love of that one lamb burns in his soul
So the Shepherd left them all to go and seek him

So in the wilderness the Shepherd sought him
The lamb that was so lost but not forgot
But the snares of the world had trapped and caught him
Enslaved by sin the lamb must now be bought
But the Shepherd of the sheep would not forsake him
For the life of that one lamb He'd pay the cost
So the price was paid to save the lamb from slavery
When they nailed the gentle Shepherd to a cross
